There's nothing quite like spending a night with friends and loved ones sipping sparkling wine.
The light but pointed texture of the drink established it as a mainstay for celebrations around the world, its like tasting stars.
Sparkling wine is a wine with significant levels of carbon dioxide in it, making it fizzy. The bubbles of sparkling wines are formed during a second fermentation process. For the second fermentation, the winemaker takes still wine and adds a few grams of sugar and a few grams of yeast. This yeast and sugar convert to carbon dioxide (bubbles) and, of course, alcohol.
You get a reminiscent aroma of fresh applesauce, spiced apple, ripe pear, and freshly baked bread smells, compliments of the yeast that's added during the second fermentation, with flavors like apple, pear, citrus, strawberry, cream, vanilla, yeast and nuts.
Aruba Trading Company represents several brands of sparkling and prosecco. We invite you to get to know some of them.
