Vintage Notes
Alluvial soil and drip irrigation, combined with an altitude of 1.150 m.a.s.l. and a dry and continental climate with great sun exposure allowing perfect ripening. Vine cultivated by vertical shoot position trellising. Harvested from March 25th to April 5th by machine harvest.

Vinification

  • Grapes were destemmed and crushed.
  • Maceration before fermentation.
  • Alcoholic Fermentation: 18 days of fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 25-28ºC.
  • Natural malolactic fermentation.
  • Aging process: in American oak barrels for 6 months.
  • Bottling aging for 5 months.

Tasting Notes

A Purple-hued red whose nutmeg and black pepper aromas marry with toast and chocolate notes from the six months aged in American oak. Harmoniously structured, extends a long finish.
